Our history on the Upper West Side
We opened on the Upper West Side in the early 1990s and have been at the same location on 2nd Avenue ever since. In that time we've serviced thousands of buildings across the neighborhood — from prewar co-ops on Park Avenue to brownstones on the side streets, from new condos on 2nd Avenue to landmarked townhouses near the museums.
We've been trusted with restoration work at some of the neighborhood's most significant properties, including the Ukrainian Institute of America on 79th Street — a project that required careful rebuilding of century-old mortise lock mechanisms while preserving the building's historic hardware. That kind of work reflects what we stand for: precision, patience, and respect for what already exists.
